Overview

My Journey in Metaminds- A Design Agency based in Mumbai.

I worked at Metaminds, a design agency based in Mumbai, as a User Experience Designer. I was involved in multiple projects (though some are under NDA, so I can't share them 🥲). Fortunately, I’m able to showcase this particular project.

👂🏻

Client Brief

What did the client need?

It all started with a simple yet powerful brief from the Sonu Sood Charity Foundation Team: “We need to increase donations and create a good-looking website.”

Increase Donations

The foundation relied heavily on individual contributions to fund their initiatives.

Visually Impactfull Website

The existing website felt outdated and didn’t reflect the foundation’s impactful work

At first, it seemed simple. But we soon realized the website was more than just an online presence—

it was a key way for millions to connect with the foundation’s mission.

The stakes were high, and so was the responsibility.

🤩

Solution

We revamped the entire website to Increase Donations & Build Trust.

A website for desktop and mobile with simplified donations, categorized campaigns, local SSC Club highlights, and clear partnership opportunities.

User Pain Points (From Our Analysis)

Inefficient Donation Process

The donation button was hard to find, and the process was cumbersome.

Lack of Clarity

Users couldn’t easily understand the foundation’s mission or impact.

Poor Navigation

Information was scattered, and users had to dig to find what they needed.

Limited Engagement

There were few ways for individuals to get involved in the club.

☹️

Problem

Understanding the Problem.

Before jumping into solutions, we needed to understand the why behind the revamp.

This analysis became the foundation of our redesign strategy.

⚡️

Plan of action

We set a clear objective.

Our plan of action focused on setting clear objectives to inspire empathy, increase trust, showcase impact, and simplify navigation for a seamless user experience.

🧠

Brainstorming

The entire team collaborated and began generating ideas.

Bringing the Team Together to Generate Innovative Ideas.

✍🏻

Wireframing

Sketched out ideas and pitched the layout to the client.

We brainstormed and sketched initial concepts, presented the proposed layout to the client for feedback, made necessary adjustments based on their input, and finalized the design to align with their vision and project goals.

  1. The page lacked clarity about the club’s purpose and impact.

  2. There was no clear call-to-action for volunteers or donors.

Then we Introduced Our Partners Page.

Why We Added It?: During our analysis, we noticed there was no dedicated page for partnerships. This was a missed opportunity to engage businesses and organizations.

Message from Founder Sonu Sood

“I believe that each one of us has the power to change the world, one act of kindness at a time. Whether it's providing food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, or education to the underprivileged, every little bit counts.

I've seen firsthand the impact that even the smallest gesture of kindness can have on someone's life. It's like a ripple effect – it starts small, but it grows and spreads, touching the lives of countless others along the way.”
